Cooking glitch

Does anyone else have this issue, when a sim cooks a dish, and once they are done, the dish disappears from the counter, while sim moves away few inches from the counter?

Literally just happened to me, anything i cook using the oven or stovetop just disappear as soon as it is done cooking.

God i wish they would fix it. I was so psyched to hear that its possible to buy and play sims 2 without going through settings and mods to run it. But that glitch is quite of a deal-breaker. Had to refund it. Im hoping the will fix it in the future but something tells me they wont since its EA and an old game

yes and i am having a work glitch as well. My sim resets when coming home from work making it impossible to earn money from professions

Yeah they also get stuck sitting and trying to eat, they just get up and try again and again and can't eat.

i have the same issue, just wanted to share this. Ive heard that the devs are trying to make a hotfix update, lets pray that this will fix all common and annoying bugs

For me it happens after getting a promotion, the next day I would make breakfast, the sim will sit to eat, and then pop up. After that when trying to cook again food will disappear when made from the stove. It corrects temperately when I validated the game, but as soon as my sim got a promotion the same thing happens again.

I'm having the same bug, when testingcheats is enabled I get tree break encounter error. I removed all the CC and validated the files too. I really hope it gets solved on the next patch because it's absolutely game breaking

Mine was working perfectly until I invited friends over to hang out, now any prepared food just vanishes.

Do you get any skill gain when trying to cook, or does the skill gain reset, or does it raise at all?

That is what happened in my game too. Everything worked fine before inviting sim over. By the way, just being curious, were it autumn when it happened?
