Deleted Sim after loading home

Hi, I was playing as Bianca Monty in Veronaville, she just got a child, after some time a reloaded a save file to continue playing the household and the child is gone. She has a memory of having the child, all furniture is still there so it was the time when the child was already born, the child is still on the family portrait when you check the town but it is missing and in the memory it doesnt show its name, it's gone from the family tree as well. Anyone knows how to fix this? Can I reload previous save file? If so, how? I do not know where the save files are stored. Thanks a lot if anyone knows how to help. I played a lot of sims 2 in the past but this never happened to me :/ dunno whats wrong with this version on steam

Reloading save for me didn't work. The children are just randomly gone. I hope they fix it but I am also thinking just getting a refund. If I still get one.

This happened to me twice as well! The first time when I reloaded the game the parents were gone too but the house still was owned by them and I could enter the lot...

What the hell did they make with the game? I got so happy that they released it on steam but what did just happen, i played hundreds of hours on my older computers but this never happened

Same bug for me. One child disappeared, memory is still there, objects, etc.

As far as I can tell, this is unique to the legacy collection.

I am trying to refund this mess of a game but I already have 4 hours so refund was refused :/ seriously how can they release a game with more bugs than it had twenty years ago, only possible by EA

I lost my cat with one of my test family. Let’s hope they will patch that until then maybe better not playing seriously.

same happened to my one sim household... her apartment is still decorated by me, but she is totally gone and a townie is living there now :(

Another terrible bug that needs to be fixed quickly by EA. A re-release should not be not adding new bugs.

Had it happen here as well. I shrugged at some point, moved in another sim into the household to replace the lost one and eventually that sim would disappear and then I had all sorts o performance issues and stuttering.

Same, keeps happening to me. I can only have 2 sims per household- any others will be deleted

I made a household with 4 sims and 4 pets. I placed them and 2 of my pets were gone. I moved them to the bin, to check if the pets would come too, they didn't. I placed them down again, and now I only have 2 sims....

I managed to get a refund on a second try with steam, if you are experiencing the same issues maybe you can try as well, the game is unplayable at this state :/ google how to get a refund for a game played over 2 hours. The way they released this game is really bad :/

I’m having the same exact problem with the Broke family. After the third son aged up to child, i logged out and when i logged back in he was a toddler in the family portrait and completely gone from the family. She has memories of teaching him (his name is showing up as $subject) to walk and aging up but nothing else. At this point I’m willing to reset the neighborhood/game but i can’t even find a solution to do that. Disappointing.

my WHOLE family disappeared ! i created 2, used CC on both. first one is in their house, second one is neither in their lot nor available from the households available to move in. this happened twice. however, i can see the changes i made to the house(s) ! even the aspiration rewards are placed in the lot. i cannot play this game, all that work/skill/relationships/wants progress to completely disappear with the sim.

any chance EA games will try to fix this ? I have only 14 days to request refund and have doubts if the issue would get resolved prior.
