This is actually Disgusting, Maxis/EA are you kidding.
I was really excited for this but this cash grab/scam is utterly disgusting. I already dislike the money wall you put up but THIS! for a 30 year old game are you kidding? Request refunds. You can get this game free online AND better because the community put in to make it better. Don't give your money to these people anymore. Am I alone?

You could get it free because it was abandonware, it's nto anymore and EA might go after the people offering free downloads. Also if you are not skilled with computers, you don't have to hassle with the 4GB patch.

That's nice but they haven't fixed anything or added anything and this is literally the definition of flogging a dead horse

Yes, they could added a few more fixes in it, but you be surpriced how many people can't be arsed to go search of free version on third party sites for the game. It's convenient to have it on steam, where you just press install, wait a fw minutes and you can play. Also if you chance PC, it's just as easy.

Have you not read the threads? People are finding it hard to get to work. This is a horrifying cash grab, It doesn't work they shouldn't have released it especially for an obscene amount of money...

I feel like EA just spit in my face right now. I got mines off of etsy for $4, why would i pay for the sim 2 for close to $30. Not only that, i bet they didnt fix any bugs!

They have not fixed a thing. I am working off of mine which I bought back in the naughties. For full price. These are the same product.

Yes and no. I'm rather disappointed with this release but at the same time it works okay with me. I think its better having a purchasable options for new players too scared to perform some magic tricks wink wink but im disappointed the corruption is STILL there.

EA is being disgusting as ever, they can miss me with this. Ill enjoy my $4 etsy sims 2 game. Good thing the reviews are going in the negatives

Okay, you are concern trolling and don't know anything about the sims 2. Sims 2 released in 2004. At least make your concern trolling convincing.

the first thing i saw when i found out they was re releasing sims 1 and 2 is that its the exact same game, that you automaticly thought they would be released with new features or whatever you thought is on you.

EA released excatly what they said they would, and it took me 1 google search and 1min to find out.

I totally agree. It's such a shame that such a good game is still behind a paywall. Had my best years in this and want others to experience the same x
