Is EA going fix crashes on The Sims 2 CaS?

I have not purchased The Sims 2 yet on Steam and I watched a video on youtube about someone trying to make a sim household on CaS from The SIms 2 Legacy Collection, but a crash prevented the household from being made. If this happens always with no way to fix it from mods or some other work around and without EA going to get involved in fixing this it means at least part of The SIms 2 is broken despite the fact it was supposed to be made compatible with The Sims 2 on Windows 10 and Windows 11. EA in my opinion should have tested this game more to make sure it works properly including CaS at least part because it is based on an old game. This game might seem like a cash grab to some people if EA does fix crashing in CaS and does not resolve issues with launching the game (including that direct X9 error). There are apparently some work around ways to make The Sims 2 work better, but even if someone could successfully launch The Sims 2 not being able to create households because of crashing preventing this is bad.
