THE STUPID PHONE KEEPS CRASHING MY GAME

Every time I've tried to call a sim over, or call a taxi to go ANYWHERE but my home lot, the sim just stands there, stuck. I try to cancel the action, nothing. I tried waiting it out and the game just crashed. Before I ended up rage quitting after trying again, I had sent my sim to work and he NEVER CAME HOME. Shift ended at 6pm and never showed up. His needs kept dropping into the red and he was gonna die and I had nothing I could do. So I raged quit. This is ridiculous!!! The OG game wasn't even this bad, you call this a remaster???? PLZ FIX
