BUG: university students cannot attend final exam

Pretty much what it says in the title, at the end of a university semester my sim would leave for the final exam, come back before it's "over", and any time I tried to send them back it would just reset the timer, with the exam only officially ending after I let them "skip" for an hour after they came back

I never had this bug in the disc version and it's objectively very funny that this OS compatibility patch has broken something so integral lmao

It doesn't take long if you already completed the coursework etc. You can cheat or use mods to skip to the semester end and start the exam. If there are mods installed, I wonder if it's a compatibility issue.

No mods, fresh install, but what I mean is that even will a full performance bar they physically could not complete the final exam. The event wouldn't end at all unless they "missed" it by coming back and waiting an hour. It's very strange

There seems to be a number of weird bugs in this release, make sure to bug report it to EA.

An update for anyone reading this who had the same issue:

When I got the bug I was in Sim State University based out of Pleasantville, and I later tested it with a different university in a different neighbourhood and it worked as intended that time, so while annoying it seems like it can be fixed by just making a new university altogether. Might be specific to SSU even but I don't have the data to know, that's just conjecture, let me know what your setup was if you had this bug because now I'm curious

I had this issue, and had to delete my Sim :/ I tried to move her into a different dorm, and ran into a different issue where she claim a dorm room. I made a new University Sim, and seem to have no issues so far.
