Crashing after creating family?
I see a lot of reviews saying the game simply crashes after creating a family. Is this happening to everyone, or is it just a small percentage of people?

Moving around the community hub myself, it seems like sort of hit or miss... For the most part, I think people are not having that issue, there are a couple people here and there with that problem though

Also just letting you know, another issue that people brought up, is that apparently the voice quality of the sims are low quality, but again not a bunch of them having that issue

I just got this happen to me after creating my first sims family! :( I was so excited and then BOOM. GONE. Should I refund the game or wait for patches?

I have the same issue... I had a message on my screen: fatal error. The application gonna close. It made two times... im so upset

It just happened to me too. Extremely disappointed, been looking forward to playing this game again for ages.

Happened to me, but the family was created, and was available once I opened the game again.
I verified the game files, and it said 5 files had to be recovered.

I'll try again after this, see if it crashes again.

Edit: I created another family after verifying the game files, and it didn't crash. I did it in a brand new neighborhood.
Can't tell if it'll happen again in the future, but try verifying game files for now if it happens.

i fixed it by changing my graphics, loading into the neighborhood, and then quitting the game. it hasn’t crashed since

I keep having this problem.. hopefully a fix comes. I just played a premade family and had no other problems
