Did they fixed aging and time?

In the Ultimate Collection non-active sims (townies) don't get old, unlike your active family, and because of that I'm always turning that feature off, cause it's annoying that your sims get old, and people around no. And on top of that, when leaving a community lot at, let's say, 3PM, your sim could get home somewhere around of 2AM with random stats. I wonder if these problems were fixed in the Legacy Collection?

time community project mod is unfortunately not working for the sims 2 legacy collection..

That never happened in the original release either. You always had to have them age up manually, which is too bad, but it has nothing to do with this release. It would be nice if they fixed it though, and now would be a marvelous opportunity to do so.
