The Sims™ 2 Legacy Collection

Internet connection needed
So that means that I need to be connected to the internet the entire time?

well yeah youre launching a game through a drm of course it needs an internet connected unless you use modded files.
Oh well... Guess I'm passing on it then. Thanks.
Sims 1 and 2 does NOT need Internet to play. Just for the initial activation on the EA app. Only the sims 4 content included in the bundle requires Internet.

That being said I’d pass anyway it seems they’ve barely done anything to fix the game, look into the sims 2 starter pack instead.

Plus the fact they gave it denuvo for whatever reason, absolute pass.
Also thanks for the idea, I might try that actually.

It doesn't have any DRM or the EA Launcher, at all.

You don't need an internet connection, other than whatever you need to open it on Steam.

Wait, so you are telling me that the Denuvo tag thing in the store page is wrong?

I'm 99% sure, since there's no trace of Denuvo in the game files at all. And no EA app either.

Seems that the denuvo tag is related to the Sims 4 content from the bundle

Ok now we are talking, if the DRM, EA app and Denuvo aren't there... Here where I live the game is 25 dollars, it seems kinda worth it if you ask me

Also, I wanted to ask you, does it work right out of the box? Or is tinkering required?

Works really good for me, both TS1 and TS2! I had to tune some resolution settings. I was really happy that you can change the language, too.

But you did it within the game I assume? Also, I'm seeing other people saying that it crashes after creating a family

Yeah all in-game. Strange, everything works for me.

Yeah, a bunch of people are having issues, from sound being low quality, crashes, not even opening, etc.
