Still crashes after seconds.

Same here. Just a few seconds after loading into the household, the game closes by itself.

Patch so far works for me resolution and game isnt crashing near as much anymore however I have noticed some glitches while playing:

-When marilyn monroe comes to give your sim an award on your home lot the game crashes EVERYTIME
-The heads on the bottom now are glitched for some reason, like whenever you change their outfit the portrait looks really weird but could be due to vulkan not sure
-Having too many objects on a lot can cause crashes immediately, I have ported all of my neighborhood files from backup from over the year at the lot at the far top right I had it furnished a ton but due to new engine/vulkan game cannot seem to handle it.

Not sure if theres a place to spot this out to the sim team but posting for possible glitches I have noticed overally the game besides the 3 issues seem fine so far, still testing as going through these patches. Thank you again EA for trying to attempt to fix these issues <3

1080p UI still not fixed

3 patches in and they still haven't fixed this. Literally half of all Steam users have 1080p displays. They better fix this in the next patch...

I am running 4k just fine, you can change your PC resolution settings in the meantime until a fix from EA is rolled out.

Cant even get past the neighbourhood view, crashes immediately even before sim creation mode.

I tried playing for the first time today. Initially it loads into a neighbourhood, but there are no pre-made houses or families. I tried to visit Downtown and the game got stuck on a loading screen, and then crashed with no warning after I clicked the screen. Trying to play again causes a crash to desktop without warning after "The Sims" splash art has finished "loading". If I delete the "The Sims 25" folder in my "Saved Games" folder, I can repeat the above crashing cycle.

Same goes for me. Very annoying.

Now it looks fixed at least.

None of the buildings are loading in on the maps and if I try to click on the character button, the game closes. Can't go any further than that.

same here. No buildings and crashes everytime I try create family.

the game still crashes when i try make a new household :( i cant even play the game without it crashing in a second

This patch seems to have caused a bug on my end. It loads the map with no houses on it. I can't click on anything, and when I try to enter CAS, it crashes.

Game crashes upon start up for me! But at least Sims 2 Legacy works completely fine for me now though, so that's something. I hope there is another patch to fix this start up crash, seems i'm not the only one with this issue either!

I would love if there could be a co-op mode for Sims 1, and for new expansions to be released. There is just something charming with the good ol Sims graphics. It would be like a nostalgia trip that I could do with my friends and explore new towns. Living together on a land plot similar to Stardew Valley, do missions/quests etc

yep it’s happening to me too I hope they fix this game breaking bug, I’ve had no issues with the sims 2 legacy but the sims 1 legacy is unplayable
