Report a translation problem
I had it crash several times on day one, but it hasn't happened again after the patches. Though of course I can't guarantee it will be the same for you.
But, there is still the 1080p res small GUI. But for lots of people game crashing anyway. They patch it quite frequently, so maybe you can wait a little and buy it again later.
I think I agree; I will buy a Windows XP computer too. :) (This makes me feel really old at this point.)
And to be honest, I never liked The Sims 4. I really liked The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 the most. (But I also still like to play Theme Hospital and even Theme Park from Bullfrog!)
On topic of crashing however, you only seem to have played for 4.8 hours. Give it some more time and soon you'll have to turn the vox option down for it to stop crashing. That's a given.
