Did you die of old age in this game?
I mean, i played it as a kid back in the day, use cheats as klapaucius and rosebud, build huge houses and stuff, but the truth is i never played it normally, so i have doubts if my Sim can die of old age, i know about the fire or the pool without the ladder, but considering you just do normal stuff, eventually my sim will die?

In Sims 3 that i never cheated i know the lifespam of my sim, i can even configure how long each phase of life will last, but in sims 1 i don't know this stuff, i just am trying play normally, going work, trying upgrade skills and have friends to know if i can get to the best jobs, but i am afraid i'll die and didn't achieve nothing of it because time passes and the game is hard to get friends or keep them

Yeah there's only three stages of maturity in the game: baby, child, and adult. Babies mature into kids but the latter remain kids forever (unless as another poster said, you use a magic spell.) Adults do not grow old nor die of old age.

I remember in the early 2000s it seemed the two biggest things fans wanted The Sims 2 to have were life cycles (from infancy to old age) and weather. They got their wish (weather was supposed to be in Sims 2 at launch but ended up in an expansion.)

as far as i'm aware (big noob btw) you cannot die from old age in this. It was sims 2 and up" but don't quote me on that
There's no way of dying of old age in this game. Children can't even age up either.

Sims don’t die of old age and kids don’t age up into adults. There’s a spell in the magic EP to age kids up though.

Worth mentioning that when casting both it or the spell that turns pets into Sims, the game saves right then and there, so keep this in mind when playing!

Depois da primeira atualização tento inicio o jogo e logo em seguida ele fecha sozinho. Já desinstalei e reinstalei e continua ocorrendo a mesma coisa. Antes dessa primeira atualização estava conseguindo jogar normalmente o The Sims 1 Legacy.
