I guess it will work like every other ea game : launch the game on Steam and it will register the content on EA
I purchased TS1+2 pack on EA App with the 10% gamepass discount though and it works flawlessly
I do recommend however getting this game on Steam as it's easier to refund. The game might not run on your PC at all and even if it does, it's littered with crashes for most systems. EA most likely won't give you refund even if it doesn't work. source
Yes this is also my reasoning lol. Refunding on Steam would be easier. I would love all my Sims games to just be on Steam period, but they're all on EA (including Sims 2 Ultimate Collection). I think I will just buy it on here even if the Sims 4 pack doesn't work.

Unfortunately, the story that was available on that URL I posted yesterday of a person who could neither start their game nor get a refund from EA was, most certainly accidentally, lost in the process. It can't be found on either sub.
Now I look like a right twit, posting baseless claims.
Lol no worries. I am just seeing this now. I ended up buying the game on EA just because all my Sims games are on there, and I started wondering if there would be an issue with the pack for Sims 4 since I have that game on EA. I didn't want Steam to automatically download it or something. Anyways, Sims 1 is working fine for me, the only issue I had so far was one crash on a busy community lot. I am still happy I picked it up for 20 bucks even just for nostalgia sake.
