Sims hate being outside. And animals won't stop peeing

The room need is completely red when they are outside of their house, and some roaches are spawning in the yard which usually happens when there's trash around. I think there is something glitched causing them to hate the yard.

Also, the stray animals that show up are also peeing on the sidewalk at the ends of each road constantly, which I'm sure is contributing but they hated the outside the moment I dropped in the sims.

Would love if people know of a fix for either, or this will just take some waiting for a patch from EA

Buy one of the signs in the decor or misc category that makes stray animals go away (it looks like a stop sign iirc?). Maxis anticipated strays being annoying back in the day and added an object explicitly to make them leave, lmao.

As for room, once all the pee/roaches/trash outside are cleaned up I'd just buy some trees, flowerbeds and whatever else might help. Mind that flowers are high maintenance.
