Stuck on tutorial

At Bobs house when I work through the tutorial it gets stuck when it teaches you how to rotate an object. I've bought a new object and uses ones already there and rotated it following the instructions and it won't progress. Bobs needs don't ever change. Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you.

Same here, at some point trying I got an error telling me the tutorial has issues and it told me to redo it somewhere if I wanted to.

Has anyone found a solution for this? My game opens but no family appears and when I enter the tutorial house it gives an error saying the tutorial cannot continue

Have you tried running as admin? For saves to work (families and houses) on the cd version on 10 it has to run as admin

Unfortunately it doesn't work and I have win 11 I wonder if this is the problem?

Could be. the fix is a cd fix, so it's possible whatever issue causes the save access problem for cd is different from this version.

Only other thing I can think of if you haven't already tried is to open from the program file executable. Probably trying out different compatibility settings running as admin.

Some people said that the Windows 7 compatibility setting fixed it, but it didn't work for me, in fact, the game didn't open at all. and actually I think the problem is that the Unleashed package cannot be installed because at first there is no pop up saying that it has been installed.

Hi this happened to me, and in my case it was nothing to do with errors or incompatibility, it was because I'd opened parts of the UI it hadn't asked me to.
From memory I had the Needs panel showing and it literally halted progress in the tutorial, even though I was clicking on the Zoom icon like it was asking.

As soon as I closed the needs, the tutorial recognised my Zoom click and it progressed to the next step.
