stuck on The Sims Unleashed Loading

so i was able to launch the game, but only until The Sims Unleashed Patching comes up but didn't make any progress even i left it for half an hour... anybody had this issues?

Yes, I had it.
After go to desktop and come back, the issue dissapear.
Every single time when I am lauching the game, I have to go to desktop and open Sims again, but it works.

it doesn't work for me at all... hahahaha instead the sims window didn't open every time i switch

Change your desktop resolution to either 1280x720 or 800x600, launch the game, it will load now, after it's all loaded you can quit the game and set your original resolution back. At least that's what fixed it for me. For some reason it doesn't like 1920x1080 or higher resolutions...

I managed to fix this by going into the game properties and running it in windows 7 compatibility mode!

I was having problems with the game until I did this and now it is running perfectly! Thank you!

might need to run as administrator to function right. It's necessary for old copies for saving, and if vulkan is the only real change then i would assume the issues aren't all the different. The resolution issue seems unique though
