Crashing when trying to save...Sims 1

Game is launching ok on Win 10. However, it will start to crash when im trying to save the game! Please help :(

Go to the Sims folder, right click on the sims, -> settings -> compability -> set compability mode -> try different modes -> ok -> start the game / wont work -> try another compability mode

Please help me, i cannot run the game. I downloaded from Steam for 25th year bundle "The Sims Legacy" bu i cannot run the game. How can I fix it? Please Help. I have windows11 and nvdia geforce 4070.

Same here, I lost an hour of progress cause I saved before quitting the game... it hard crashed and didn't save... sigh.

Does it seems logical to you that a re release that brags about how it is for windows 10 and 11 should be use compatibility modes (which none of them actually fix the random crashings) is this a joke??? Ea should be sued at the very least not only for releasing a broken game but also lying about "fixing random bugs" as they stated in the false 1.0 patch notes

It's so incredibly irritating and disappointing. Shouldn't have to jump through loops to get them to work properly. Tried to play Sims 2 yesterday but that also crashed and I lost progress. Wouldn't be so annoyed if they released them for free but 60 AUD for this buggy mess is a joke. I really hope they fix it soon.

Also crashing for me when I try to save, jump down the hole to magic town and also randomly.

As someone else said in a previous post it worked to lower the screen resolution. At least for now it's working

It doesn't always crash but like 1 of 6 times while saving on my win11 system. A game should NEVER crash from saving it >:| In every other case I simply could save more often ...

I tried all of the compatibility options and also tried lowering the screen resolution. The game still crashes every time I try to save. I was able to build a house and had no issues saving there but once I moved in my Sims, I can no longer save. Anyone fixed this yet?
