Scaling issue (tiny UI) with 1080p displays
I've tested this extensively and discovered that UI scaling is broken when running 1920x1080.
Running at higher resolutions makes the UI scale up so it's not teeny tiny, but running at native 1080p makes the UI tiny.

@EA can you please fix the faulty UI scaling @ 1080p?

**EDIT: As of 4th March, EA have responded to this issue and have advised they're actively working on it, which is awesome news!

This person's blog has screenshots showing the 1080p UI scaling bug:

And no, adding '-w -r1920x1080' to the launch properties in Steam does absolutely nothing to the UI scale nor the resolution of the game.

try to run in differents compatibility modes trough the .exe properties of the game
There is a more convenient way to avoid manually changing the resolution while also improving readability and zoom:

+1 up, this is an important discovery

The only solution right now is changing Windows 10/11's resolution to 1280x720 each time before playing the game.

Is there a test how the map with houses looks in each resolution?

I think the neighbourhood screen (map with the houses) always has a border around it, no matter whether the scaling is working or not.

Ok I tested with resolutions available for me

Again, only 1080 is crappy.

The change in my linked post only affects the active household.
