Has anyone been able to get a pet?

Can't travel to old town, won't let me click the middle area to old town to buy a dog or train it. I can only buy damn seeds on the west side. It will show the map of old town but only the seed place is available to click.

Til someone makes a fix, your best bet is to just edit the community lot you can go to, and put the pet display cases on the lot. It'll let you buy them on that lot.

I'm having the same issue. Hopefully they've got a patch out soon.

I took the old town bus to the pet store yesterday, all worked as intended.

Something else you could try is changing your computer's resolution to a smaller size to be able to click on the community lots. It fixed mine.

for me the toys that i buy for my pets just disapear when i give them to my pets. normaly it would have stayed on the ground for them to play with it.
