Custom houses won’t show up

As title says, everytime I download a house no matter which house it is, it won’t show up in game at all? only the custom furniture show up but no houses do is this a bug? seen others mention the same thing other than that other custom content and mods show up fine except houses?

Make sure it's the correct directory, it should be in your home folder, in \Saved Games\Electronic Arts\The Sims 25
