- Library Steam > Right click on The Sims Legacy > Properties
- In Lauch Options, add this : -w -r2560x1440
- Once in game, press [Alt] + [Enter] to make the game bigger
** If you play in 1080p, add instead : -w -r1920x1080
Thank you but if this is the only way to fix it I'll just refund the game. I don't think they deserve any money for this
Adding resolution settings in the steam properties field does nothing to the resolution, and alt-enter simply changes the game from windowed to non-windowed (with no change to the resolution).
This works for the Sims 2 Legacy but not here for Sims 1.
1) Press ctrl+shift+c to open the cheat input bar
2) Type in "uintProp uiScaleFactor" followed by a space and then the number 1, 2, or 3.
The game defaults at 2. 1 is the highest resolution, and 3 is a 1280x800 resolution. You can also make the game open this "persistantly" by going to the “Graphics Rules.sgr” file. The pathing they suggest if you downloaded from EA proper is “The Sims 2 Legacy Collection\EP9\TSData\Res\Config" and they mention as a note in the note that the file location may change depending on which storefront you purchased the game from.
well that's embarrassing
Actually I'm glad you posted that, as I wasn't aware of those console commands for TS2 - thanks!
