Sims 1 frame rate issue

When I have 1 sim on screen it runs perfectly. More than one sim on screen absolutely tanks the performance. I absolutely love this game but it's almost unplayable if I want to get my social meter up. Anyone know of any potential fixes already? I know it's only been a few hours since it released.
Or I'll have to hope they update it at some point

Same issue here. I have:

GPU AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT
CPU AMD Ryzen 5600X

the game crashed on my laptop at first until I tell windows to use Intel GPU and it finally worked, then when I came back home and back to my main PC which has full AMD system (R7 5700X + RX 6800), the game run without a problem with discrete GPU but then here we are this is why I'm here, the game has low fps when there are multiple sims in one lot, and it appear this is indeed AMD specific issue, it's quite sad how CD/freeware version run much better than Steam official version.

I have a fix for you guys lower your resolution of the game. dont play on 4k or 2k. play on 720p or 1080p for best fps. with the 720p you are not gonna have any ui issues.

how to lower resolution:
right click on desktop home screen.
screen settings --> screen resolution --> 1280x720

you have to do this every time you wanna play sims 1.

option is greyed out for me for some reason. i wish ea would just fix that, ive read that a lot and they didnt even acknowledge it.

To kind of fix this issue, with AMD cards, I have turned on Radeon Chill and set MIN and MAX to 60. You will get frame drops and jump ups but at least it's more stable....ish,
