Do you go into a McDonalds and asks them to add a Whopper to the menu? No, of course not.
We're not asking Valve to sell the game on GOG, these forums are a way to get in touch with the DEVS and PUBLISHERS who may read this and consider a release on more platforms as a way to, you know...make more money...
In your own dumb logic - this is us meeting up with a Burger King C-suite marketing member (or whatever) over a coffee at McDonalds. We're asking the Burger King guy, not the McDonald's guy.
Now where yours screws up completely - you assume Sims belongs to Steam...? Nooo... Sims belongs to EA and where exactly EA sell the game - be it on their own store, Steam, GOG, xbox, Epic, etc - has no relevance to anything. There is no "whopper" here that magically can't be sold on another store... There's no competition for EA - it's just more sales to a wider audience. Like Coca-Cola selling their sugar water everywhere, instead of limiting themselves to 1 store chain only. Get it?
Aaanyway... If you're gonna try and make up a "gotcha!" analogy - at least think whether it makes sense in the first place...
This isn't the GOG forum either.
