The Sims™ Legacy Collection

The game doesn't have the EA Launcher or Denuvo - the included Sims 4 DLC does
The game seems to be completely DRM Free and launches straight into the games. Tested both Sims 1 and 2. They just tagged the Sims 4 DLC that is included, and that does have Denuvo / EA launcher required.

EDIT: It has standard Steamworks DRM, so you can't run it easily without Steam. Sorry for the confusion. But no Denuvo or EA app.

As far as I can tell, yeah. It boots straight into the game, no DRM.
Okay good to know, thank you. I was getting pissed off for no reason then lol I’ll buy it.

Ooo! That should make running on Linux/Steam Deck a lot easier!

Valve has already reviewed it as "Playable" on the Steam Deck. Even has my beloved Finnish translation in it :)

Fortunately, no EA DRM here but Steam DRM still applies. I know majority of players do not care if the Steam has launched or not but this game is not 100% DRM-free. But hey at least the EA App requirement does not exist (yet?) which is really fine. Also the
game launches very quickly (after you're logged in Steam of course). Still waiting DRM-free GOG release for this (never gonna happen tho).

Extra points for the included translations, the Finnish one is superb.

I ran this through steamless and i can confirm there is infact steam DRM so you cant straight up copy it and run without logging into steam

I can confirm that EA App isn't required and it doesn't look like Denuvo is in the installation
I wont give any links but there is an open source program named Steamless which can allow you to check for yourself regarding the steam drm
