same issue, cant link my account to my main account and tried linking it to an old epic games account. That worked of course and now I am stuck with it

Asked me to type my current email
Tried my epic account email, invalid.
Input another email, it seems just created a blank account based on my Steam username.

Once you've unlinked your accounts. Try it again. AFTER confirming the Epic account you want to link to (it even says so in the page - what it DOESN'T say is that if you screw it up... AGAIN, there might be delays - at which point I hope you can access that email account)

Once in... prepare for a few shocks.

Just bear in mind that nothing has been lost (I hope) but you will have to redo the main story quests... yeah, all those quests to unlock weapons/etc. All over again.

Don't forget to redo your Slayer's Path.

It helps if you actually read all that text-dumps they throw at you. It explains a lot

Invert Y is still hosed in Gliding mode (2+ years, but how many gamers will notice this? Every flight-sim / ARMA / VBS nerds? And yes, it works purrfectly in MHW, just meowing). The non-hack fix is to use an app-hook that inverts the mouse Y-axis at all times, or use a controller
