I find it very intriguing as a concept especially in spiritualism (like in buddhism), but I also like to read experiences etc in the internet communities there are about tulpas.
So, what interested you the most and you decided to create a tulpa?
Well it was a bit of a story, I have a friend who kept mentioning the topic at school (low and behold he had one) but would never tell me a speck of information until about Junior year since I became more prescient about the topic. My other friends who were closer to him broke me down bit of information about the whole concept of tulpae and from there I was hooked. I started with Tulpa.Info and moved onto the community then to many other websites to learn new things.
To be honest, my first one, Hour, is not even one years old yet, her birthday is this month declaring our first reach of any type of sentience. She's a cross between a human and a black widow in appearance (hint the pun of her name) with purple hair.
I've been at it for a bit more than two years so far; Lyra, the older tulpa, was born on December 21st 2012, and Nature, the younger one, was born on June 21st 2013, exactly six months later.
So yeah, as an answer to your first question: you guys aren't the only ones. :P
