Having NO sound

I tried many things, like changing resolutiong, fullscreen mode, other settings, compatibility mode, etc, but nothing helps. Game have no sound at all

Game files could be corrupted. Have you check them?

UPD!! i've found this tip and it works seems fine to me:
"I also had this. I turned off compatibility mode and changed the resolution in the AlienShooter.cfg file to

DefaultScreenX=1920
DefaultScreenY=1080

Somehow this fixed the audio issue for me."

I've just shutdown'd the compatibility mode, and did the Evenstar's stuff. And it worked. Dunno how, but still

When I change my resolution using the options menu it removes the sound effects, music is still there but not sound effects,

anyone know what's going on?

You need to have the game run in your screen's Display Resolution Changing the DefaultScreenX DefaultScreenY to the recommended screen size in the AlienShooter.cfg and turn off compatibility mode. this fixed the sound for me.

Thank you. It worked. Additionally I've turned on "run as admin" as well. Before that there was only a black screen and no sound.
