Mission 4 - no HUD?

So I played first three missions. All cool. Beginning of Mission 4 there hud is missing.

I am only using the Duchenkukes sound overhaul, but it doesn't overwrite any hud elements.

Any help?

I remember that in this game there is a button to enable/disable HUD
Try TAB. If it didn't work for you go into the control settings.

You can study options of management in settings. The help screen by default the "F1" button. Hud on\off the "Tab" button.

The "hide/show HUD" button doesn't work. Even after I rebind it to different button.

Try to change the resolution of the screen. Also I recommend our fix if you didn't try it yet. If doesn't help, check a game cache. Reinstall a game, at the same time preservations will remain in documents of your user and won't suffer.

The "_global.dat" file is responsible for the user settings:
system disk\Users\user name\Documents\AlienShooter2 Reloaded Saves\Saves\_global.dat
If the previous actions don't help, try to remove him.

No, it disappeared in all missions. In those I completed and in the current.

Solution: open file using Notepad (paste path in Explorer)

%UserProfile%\Documents\AlienShooter2 Reloaded Saves\Saves\Profile0\_user.dat

and change following value

iStateBar=1

Think you can also prevent this from happening by fiddling with game's code.
Open file in Notepad

Alien Shooter 2 - Reloaded\Maps\COMMON.LGC

Find method "LoadCurNextMap()" at line 191 and add a new line

SetValI("StateBar",1);

Root cause might be elsewhere as well. Pretty sure the HUD gets hidden for stats screen and not returned back on after level load because of a bug.
