Shader Compilation Failure

Anybody else running into this? Crashes immediately after launch.

LowLevelFatalError [File:D:\build\++UE5\Sync\Engine\Source\Runtime\RHI\Private\PipelineStateCache.cpp] [Line: 437]
Shader compilation failures are Fatal.

Crash in runnable thread Background Worker #7

I managed to get mine to run by setting launch options for the game from steam and its up and running

Having the same issue.

-force -dx11 worked for me. Granted the game crashed when I failed one of the cabins, but at least I can play it.

Nice, thanks for the tip. This at least got me into the game. When I get a chance to run it a bit, will update on if this helped long term.

yeah surprisingly after that first crash it hasn't crashed since. I cranked the settings down in game to High to force it into a smoother territory maybe that helped as well.

How do i do this pls

go to the game in the steam sidebar library and right click it and open properties. when the properties window pops up you'll see a text on that initial pop that says Launch options. Copy the text i posted -force -dx11 into the launch options space and then close it, start the game and you should be able to get in.

This isn't working for me unfortunately. After forcing dx11 I get a popup saying "Fatal Error!"
