As i said the game won't start I tried to run the game in compatibility mode but it didn't work ;/

If you're talking about the Main Story Mode for the game, then it will crash.
I owned the game back when it came out in 2006 on Disc. It worked perfectly for 10 years. Then I upgraded my PC to Windows 8. Game kept crashing. The reason why its not working is because it can really only fully work on Windows 7 or older. I still play the game today however I can only play the Rustbucket Race O' Rama in the arcade section. All other races don't work and crash the game. Hope this helps you and that you have some answers.

My loading just takes forever. Need to wait 5 minutes just to load into the game and another 5 minutes when navigating the menu 1 at a time... Idk how to fix it

I had the same problem as you guys has when i first bought and tried to play it. But then i reseted my computer and volá it worked for me!

I just reset my computer to factory settings the game still won't start ;/
EDIT:My friend has the same components in the computer, even the disc and the game turns on without a problem. what's going on? -.-
