..Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is probably my favorite game! And you can see it's influence on the Frontline series :D
- I have found a bug where there were some hexes that I could not enter with any unit, including one of the objectives in the 1st German scenario
- Many instances where the movement preview showed me some hexes that I could not reach (click on them, nothing happens)
- Prestige, which is critical to understand what units I can "buy", is now hidden in the infantry tab
- The tab system for units is really bad, forces me to open/close several tabs to find/compare units
- The tab system also gets in the way of getting more info on units. Units that are on the right side of the interface have their "detailed info" information (on hover) cut as it goes beyong the right edge, so I can't see very important information (like their defense or range)
- There's a permanent buzz/ping sound in the background in the 2nd German scenario. Had to turn off sound on that one.
I really like the game, and I am looking forward to future updates, but I think you could benefit from some proper user testing before launching big updates like this one.
But again, thank you for the update!
Edited: I am installing it now :)
Thank you, I'll get to work on it, we hurried a little this update but will fix these issues on the fly before next update. The music issue was fixed, will arrive in 30 minutes.
The Buy menu is a little frustrating but we had to to it like this of be limited in the number of units we can recruit. Think is we have in plan also adding more units so we have to work with something similar. We will think at a better solution to show them.
Cheers!
Or we can use the previous buy menu (the one that used to open from the bottom) but limited to a max of about 48 Unit.
Which one would you prefer?
Thank you!
Could be cool if something similar was used when clicking on units for information where things like individual weapons range/damage are displayed perhaps even with weapons range falloff the further they shoot similar to shooting an arrow etc.
Thanks for asking and love the music in the game giving me tabletop vibes
Maybe can make the available ones brighter or with a different colored outline?
Yes, we can do that
