Game crashed mid survival

Hello, my game crashes when i am playing survival and i lose all my progress until that point and i have played for nothing because the game will shut down by itself... I know this problem has been around for some time but I bought the game thinking it was solved by now... Any tips on how NOT to crash during survival mode?
