When playing in full screen mode, part of the game is off screen and part of my screen is black

When i open the game in full screen mode, the left part of the game is off screen. On the right side of my screen, there is a black part as big as the part that's offscreen on the left. I tried changing things in the config file, tried going from windowed mode to full screen, nothing seems to work. Someone knows what i'm doing wrong? I'm using a MSI monitor Optix G241VC curved monitor

How? The only two options I can do are windowed or full screen. Full screen has a part off screen and windowed is tiny af (I've been playing it windowed for now but it pretty much makes it unplayable).

SOLUTION (for me): okay so just when I was messing around in the settings, I found this solution:
1. Open the game
2. Go to options
3. Click on HW acceleration
4. Click on 800x600 in the display window

This worked for me on my curved monitor, all the other solutions that worked for others didn't work for me, but this did.

I haven't noticed this option before (maybe my blind ass just overlooked it), maybe they added it in an update? Not sure. Anyways, I hope this helps someone like it helped me.
