GIRLS' FRONTLINE 2: EXILIUM

Game keeps crashing and redownloading resources
For some reason the games keeps on a cycle of crashing, redownloading resources, kicking you out and it goes on and on. Contacted support but they keep giving me the cold shoulder. How do I solve this issue? Thanks in advance

Game loads up to the opening cinematic, clicking to login instantly crashes to desktop.

Checking files downloads some files, but same problem persists. Just an endless crash loop on Steam right now.

Ok, i probably found a fix for crashes. You need to turn off steam overlay in game properties.

Tried it out, and it somewhat worked. Definite helped escaping the Sisyphian cycle but some part of the problem still persists so cheers!

Glad to help. Also annoyed a bit Support team, so hope they will fix it in future.

@TankerCat05 what type of (idk how to say it correctly) game streaming(?) set on steam settings? Just found out that game crashes for me with overlay enabled if set to "everyone can watch". To fix it i changed to "friends can watch" and somehow constant crashing on launch stopped

I believe I have it disabled either way.
