Same. For me, I launch the game just fine, but after the "Press any key to start", the background video gets stuck with a big white square on top of it. Hope they solve it quick.

EDIT: Tried to restore integrity from within the game, disabling IPv6 (read it from Reddit FAQ), and now tried to get to customer service, but I get a white page. My guess is that something has gone wrong on their side.

EDIT2: From discord, it seems that some internet providers are blocking massive IP ranges due to football, and this is affecting the connection to GFL2 servers. Some say that it plays fine using a VPN.

so this is MOVISTAR's fault? I'm having the same problem
Having the same issue trying to connect from Spain, reaching a white screen just after "press any key to start"
No soy el único entonces, menos mal ya me estaba preocupando. Espero que lo arreglen pronto.
I wouldn't use a vpn tbh, you risk getting banned because people can use it to buy stuff from the store at a cheaper regional price.

The issue is that CLoudflare is being blocked by many ISPs since yesterday due to a football legal reoslution, and some ISPs areblocking a very wide range of IPs from cloudflare.

Now, why the frick does this game even uses Cloudflare for its login services? That's a good question, it's stupid, lazy and cheap. So both the ISPs and Haoyplay/Mica are to blame for this mess.

I would argue that this is only on the ISP and lack of fast legal response from goverment entities that should be securing people rights. Who would have thought that the servers the developers use would get crashed by ISPs greed over piracy on their overpriced content?

Costing different server providers is expensive, and as far I know, requires reservation months prior for large areas, thus, I believe the easiest solution for Haoplay is to wait for it to get resolved itself next Monday or Tuesday when the football games are over, at least until next Friday when it'll happen again. We are not the only ones affected, any service relaying on Cloudflare is affected.

About VPNs, I believe it should be fine as long as you connect it from a country within the EU, since we have all the same prices. But even then, I would recommend to wait and not buying anything just to be safe.
people: "why you hate football, just dont watch it, it is just another jobby/sport"

I do not know any other hobby or sport that stops public transport, changes the way a city has to be traverse, lets people get drunk and violent without consecuences becouse his team won and, from this month onwards, makes me lost mi connection to internet services.

I hated football before and i am going to hate it more onwards

Me pasó igual con la versión de Launcher y la versión de Steam
i just bought Nord VPN to be able to play and to write the issue to customer service. It seems that VPNs works perfectly for this issues. Internet providers should not have the ability to cancel your acces to random services without consecuences, i wish movistar gets sued to hell for this.

To add info. I have the VPN connected to the same country the provieder is, not needed to even change countries, just had to activate the VPN.

It seems that Movistar and LaLiga service are the ones responsible for this actions.

I recommend to every spaniard to complain to your ISP (Movistar, Digi, etc) in a written way, then push the complaint to the respective authorities following the next web (check the FAQ page if you have doubts) while attaching proff that your ISP will not solve your problem. You can do it online with a digital certificate, that if you don't have one, you can get it filling some burecracy on your town/city hall, or maybe even online. https://usuariosteleco.digital.gob.es/

If we let them do this once, they will do it every time there's football. Fight for your rights or drown under the subjugation of greedy companies.
is this still on going over in Spain?

how can I find proof that my ISP wont fix this? Until now I've only seen accusations to Movistar restricting IPs but how can I get proof of this?

Contact their whatssapp phone number with the problem, detailing that with a VPN you don't have the problem, thus making evident it's they putting the restriction and not a problem related to your system, https://www.movistar.es/atencion-cliente/averias-soporte-tecnico
Do not search for a general statement, try to get a direct negative from technical assistance on solving your problem. If they try to dissmiss or delay the problem, then ask them about the issue sourcing news outlets. The important thing is that you provide a proof that you tried to talk with your ISP in the complaint to the gov site, the response doesn't really matter that much.
