White screen on launch, black screen after starting game

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600
RAM: 64GB
GPU: RTX 5080
Nvidia Driver: 572.83

Have tried reinstalling the game, using direct haoplay/sunborn clients, updating windows, running as administrator, updating drivers, disabling various configs in NVIDIA Control Panel, removing edge and installing webview2, installing every VCRedist C++ Runtime.
Nothing worked.

I've heard in another thread someone suggesting to turn off the Steam overlay for this game, maybe that bugs the game out. Try it and tell me if it works.

I separately installed haoplay's GF2_v1.0.1.exe and sunborn's GF2_Launcher_pc1_1_0_0_OverSeas_Mica_1732302259_6_1000005.exe, experiencing the ~40GB download each time, and neither of them worked.
Neither of them run with the Steam overlay.
