Where could you decide 3 months ago in the standalone whether you wanted Darkwinter or Haoplay? I downloaded the launcher and immediately played on Darkwinter without being able to decide.
I also read and tried the copy paste but it didn't work and I gave up after the 5th attempt.
Same problem
it works
Standalone got 2 version, one Haoplay and the other Darkwinter, at first I played darkwinter but after doing some research (gift codes) I've seen that it got 2 version and so I had to download the Haoplay version (fortunatly the same day).
Doing some research is always important and while I don't have the steam version yet I've seen that apparently you can change the region.
doesn't work because APPID 3347400 is blocked for my country.
I tried replacing the files in the Haoplay folder from my Darkwinter folder and verifying them, but that doesn't work either.
It only works if you transfer Haoplay data to Haoplay data and Darkwinter data to Darkwinter data, but not if you have two different ones.
If I download a game I am assuming that the client from the official site is the right one.
I suppose I'll just continue not using Steam for this game, since I actually want my progress to be saved.
