IOs, android, PC client (that you have to download from their website) as for the steam version there isnt a date yet but assuming you play in the "haoplay" server which is the one this steam version is using then you can just install the steam version later and still have the same progress using your account

Both versions are downloadable from any place. In my case Haoplay is covering my country and clicking the download banner on their website instantly starts the download. Sunborn/Darkwinter on the other hand gives an error when not using VPN, I was still able to get the download with the exact link instead of pressing the button though.

So if you can't download the client you are probably trying the wrong version? Step one would be clicking the banner of the other version. Step two would be checking if your browser or guard addons blocks downloads. Third step would be entering the link address manually.

Yeah but They still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. It says "on all platforms", Steam is a platform and most devs show it as a different platform. And it's not out on Steam so not all platforms.

Go read steam news properly there they have stated they will release steam vers later instead of being made an clueless idiot for not reading the news in the first place.

Only other option here is the Google Play for Windows store. And that INSISTS you install the game on your OS drive (option to change install location is greyed out, as it has been for years on all Google Play for Windows games)
That's a none starter for me. Like many people my OS drive is fast.... but small.
The only reason I'm waiting for Steam version is so I can choose where to install the game.

But the point is even in that news They made a mistake.
It says game releases on ALL PLATFORMS but it does not because literally one line later They say that Steam version will release shortly. That's my point. But yeah call me "clueless idiot" because You clearly didn't understand what I'm saying.

Will there be any differences between the steam version and the version that is already out?

Probably not. Maybe the ingame shop pricing if the publisher decides to forward the cut Valve takes to the customer. But that's not gonna be set in stone. I remember some games I played in the past offered different pricing depending on your chosen payment method. Forge of Empires for example. In Azur Lane Europeans had to pay more compared with Americans due to VAT being added on checkout. So far on the standalone client EU pays the same as US aka if it's 4,99$ in the shop, then the checkout translates it into 4,75€ when using credit card.

Valve should nuke both entries of the page (Darkwinter/Haoplay) if they don´t get a release to happen or a date for it, within 2 weeks of announced release.

While I won't condone the slurs, name calling is uncalled for.
There's nothing wrong with writing that something is released on all platforms and then add an exception line below stating there's one platform that releases later.
Nothing about that announcement is wrong or miss-representative.

It's like saying "Everyone likes sushi, but not me."
There's literally nothing wrong with the message. Nothing confusing about it.

The one and only problem I got with all this is that we're not being given any information as to why Steam release is so slow. They should at least try and communicate a bit more.
