She seems more on the funny side. Funny glasses girl design.
perhaps she is both
I'd say ZZZ loses some points because it had absolutely zero of the short types like Klee or Bailu that are in the other Hoyo games.
This might be why Neverness to Everness created Sakiri in order to take players from ZZZ since its a very similar game.
I think it'll be right behind ZZZ still at least at launch. Could easily beat ZZZ if a good one gets released due to the dorm system.
And Blue Archive is of course all the way up at Genshin level or higher.
Genshin gets all its cute energy from the fanart whereas Blue Archive gets most of it from the actual game.
Ironic since Genshin's player base has far more antis.
On topic: I'm not sure they'll create a short model for the characters since all the loli-type characters from the first game share a similar model, aged up, height increase and sometimes thicker thighs (not complaining about that lol)
Nagant Revolver, Mechty, CZ75 and MP5 are some examples but honestly, as long as they are still cute I dont mind too much.
I feel like if they release a Taisch-sized character or have children's day skins like in the first game, the community will turn into a toxic wasteland because I doubt any gacha community nowadays will ever be as united as BA's especially when this one is on Steam lol.
They could always make a new base model which they could do if they see enough support for it. I think its more likely that the small amount of people who are really against that stuff will either put up with it or leave. Like even BA has those people still. Girls Frontline was one of the closest in tone to BA.
I fight for a future where a lore accurate M99 holds an MG double her size and weight while having little stuffed bunny helpers load her gun for her.
I fight for immersion, irregardless of how a filtering war among the community may turn out.
Darture the first enemy looks very aligned to the anime aesthetic.
Magic loli confirmed in the box. We won.
Hell, those tourists didn't even leave Azur Lane when Manjuu released fairly revealing kindergarten skins with special touch dialog.
I will also never understand how that even happened. If MICA decides to lean more to the cute and funny route, we'll probably see the same kind of gaslighting and coping we see from BA antis: "No it's not a harem game, and if it is, I only play it ironically.", "No the students/dolls aren't into Sensei/Commander.", "I only care about the adult looking characters anyway.".
...I'd wish they grow up and accept that they enjoy a harem game with lolis in it, it's not a big deal.
That stuff is funny. Especially for games like those where all the girls are fighting for the main character's attention.
Here there is a little more plausible deniability until you point out that you can oath all of them in the first game.
And Azur Lane's oaths are even more spicy since they are rings you put on them. And for one event they replaced the hands with the feet lol.
Wait till you see Saya no Uta players
(kinda related) there was this clip from Low Effort Clips of Himemiya Rie (vtuber) talking about this in a clip called
''Hime and people appropriating her culture (VNs)'' and it sums it up quite well.
People just play anything that's popular, same with Mihoyo games.
sometimes they don't play it at all and just use pfp's from things and pretend to like them aka ''posers''.
Real GFL fans would never, and have never, complained about this though, every SKK has a different preference in T-dolls and we don't shame each other for them. We all know you don't have to like what somebody else likes. If somebody starts complaining about it, take it as a instant sign that they just began learning about GFL through GFL2.
The game is getting a lot of attention which brings success so I'm happy for GFL it truly deserves it. And I have no problem with new fans, in fact I welcome them to enjoy the insane world of GFL, as long as they can be respectful and have a love for the game and characters.
Also I actually feel like there is less fanservice here than in the first game. Like all there are is a few poses in the dorm and outfits.
Compared to "damaged art" or secretary interactions with oath where they talk all very suggestively I think its a big difference. Like with the dorms they don't talk to you and such. They are just hanging out. Although I did see some extra stuff, unsure if its in the game yet. Either way feels like people think its super fanservicy when its a bit of an illusion.
On the player survey I also asked for a gallery feature for stuff similar to the 2D "damaged" artwork. Would really motivate players to get outfits and increase bond.
Or maybe I just have a big 2D preference and can't fully comprehend the fanservice.
We can still oath our T-doll though I don't know if it adds more dialogue after the actual cutscene? I can definitely see what you're saying about less fan service in terms of dialogue. After playing the CBT and now playing release I definitely wish there was more dialogue fan service, something like the cafe short stories from GFL1...
In terms of the dorm system I actually think it's good, it has a lot of visual fan service, I mean, they pretty much let you move the camera almost anywhere you want and with some of the skins you can get some pretty crazy angles.
But I have faith that they'll add more fan service and interactions with our dolls outside of just visual stuff.
Sadly this means we will be waiting quite a long time for lolis if they do start making them.
Will have to keep an eye on new CN banners.
Surprised they brought back Type 95 despite all her drama lol.
Assumed they would have just kept her out until way later.
