This is for the Darkwinter version tho (which everyone should play on)
That being said, Darkwinters Steam page[steamdb.info] hasn't a release date, either.
What do you mean "which everyone should play on"?
Why? And how would I choose which one to play if Steam only lists one game?
well to put a bit of salt into this i just saw a post + pic from the CBT client that Haoplay will be split into 4 regions ( also makes me wonder whats gonna happen to the Darkwinter Side are they also gonna split this ? )
( Regions: Japan / Korea / Asia / Global )
sorry really not understanding the part where the Devs make the player base even smaller then it already is... i really hope this get changed in the official release
and it would be really nice if a Dev or the Publisher could clear this up so that all the doom post about the different publishers finally stops the zero communication is driving me nuts XD haha
Also keep in mind that the CN server for GFL 1 will shut down at the end of the year because MICA and the regional provider weren't able to renew the contract. This might also happen to Haoplay.
I know right? It's ridiculous that we're seeing no official statement about this after all the
online discussion generated.
Was GFL1 turning profit in these regions? You generally don't EOS a game that generates dough
I guess? GFL was very F2P friendly from the beginning and said friendliness even increased over the years. This plus the fact that GFL is online since 2016 in CN lead to memes that GFL as a whole is a money laundering machine.
Apart from that, it would be odd for them to shut down CN, because it is the oldest server and the story is nearing its end. Futhermore, there are rumors MICA is working on bringing the servers back with another provider.
