its sucks cause haoplay does not communicate and its delayed soo there is possibility of censorship version now and zero rewards from signup . Its insane that country next to me can already play while i need to wait for potentionally worse version.

You can play the other version by directly starting the installer download via the exact link address. No VPN required with this method. Once you start the download it will never ask for your location or anything ever again and can be used normally.

You only need a VPN if you want to click on the download banner on the official website. They simply prevented the method most people will chose to get the game from working without one.

But that's the game client coming directly from Sunborn (or from Haoplay tomorrow), not the version that goes through Steam.

The thing you mean as Bannable offense would be using a VPN or other "tools" to mask your access region but i wouldnt think about it since for example say you get a monthly pass permanently why would they ban you for giving them money ?

"Edit" I mean they also used such practices themself before like censoring a version and making it still possible to get the other through specific ingame "codes"

Like the other guy said there is no bypass and frankly no region lock for the PC client outside of Steam. You can't click the banner, but you can use the direct link without hiding your geo location. You log into their server without hiding your location. If it was truely region locked, you'd have to VPN both the download and your gaming session.

But by now you can also simply download the freshly released Haoplay client, I'm currently installing that version as well. Then you are 100% in the clear.

I'm in the EU and could download and launch the game without a VPN and so far, playing it works fine. The game also instantly detected my location by changing from English to my native language.

I've got a dumb question and srry if it was answered before
The steam version is IP blocked for me coz I'm from Tunisia, but I really want to play the steam version because its the only way for me to spend money on the game
So my question is when I start playing the global version (which I already downloaded), will I be able to use my account to continue playing on the steam version when it opens (with a VPN obviously) or will it give me a fresh account

you can just login with the account your currently playing on ^^

In another discussion they said that the doll rate-ups in the 2 servers are different, specifically: Haoplay chance for elite doll any banner: 1.89%
Sunborn (darkwinter) chance for elite doll: 2.31%
Does anyone know about this? in case it would be incorrect
