The recent Telltale Games are basically interactive movies; the interactive part comes from bits of dialogue and scene/character placement. Everyone will experience the same ending story wise, but the characters with you at the end will be different, depending on the player's actions.
They change how you get to the end of the story, not the ultimate ending. Like how in The Wolf Among us, you can change minor things like if you Rip the Crooked Man's Head off, and if you rip grendals arm off.
I do like their writing skills, stories and acting... I truly believe they would do a better job at making animated movies than games. Their games are horrible and totally unreplayable thus not worth buying.
But 10/10 for acting and writing.
"... determine their fate through the choices you make; your actions and decisions will change the story around you." on the store.
Is this a false advertisement?
Well ♥♥♥♥♥. Hm. Was hoping for something more in depth. Hell, the conversations in Deus Ex: Human Revolution have more impact, and there's also an awesome stealth-fps there too. Kinda sad seeing as how conversations is all this game is. That being said, I won't be able to fully judge it until all the episodes are out and seeing how this is Telltale, that may be a while.
At this point, WDS2 is the only TT game I know about that has different endings.
