Glenmore Soldiers Useless - Choices meaningless
So I left them at Ironrath to protect the keep from exactly what I expected, an attack while I was at Highpoint.

But I guess it didn't matter cause they died anyway.

Which means it didn't matter if you kept the marriage with the Glenmores.

None of the choices mattered in the end.

You do not know what happened 'in the end'. Hopefully your wild claim proves true or this thread will devolve quickly into you getting bashed. Good luck bro, I think you'll need it.

My Glenmore soldiers are very alive and kicking. I brought them with me to Highpoint, because I figured that the Whitehills don't have enough men to attack Ironrath, especially since there isn't a reason for them to think they should attack us.

I'm very confused about the appearance of Ramsey at the end though. Felt kind of cheesy.

So it begins already...

You know, if it is like everyone you left behind is now gone then that would make the plot interesting, and that bringing the archers was actually saving them in a way. People have complained about having no control whenever Ramsey appears, which says a lot about him. He is the unpredictable menace that makes everything you do to prevent him forlorn.

In one sense, that might be what they're trying to do. Make you feel the same helplessness as the characters. You know that Ramsay is bound to the larger GoT plot, so he's invincible. I imagine the Forresters feel very similarly, since they watched him kill Ethan and there was nothing they could do.

So when basic logic is thrown out the window, when do you feel your "choices" matter? The logical choice was to keep the Glenmores at Ironrath to ensure Gryff doesn't escape which ensures Ryon is kept safe too.

Makes sense right? You're a ludic, logical game player who makes decisions based on reason and forethought.

Oops, forgot about Ramsey Ex Machina appearing from nowhere and making your choices irrelevant.

Might as well just have a "random" option for all choices since they're forcing this storyline down your throat.

My question is however, does it matter who you left behind in command of the troops at ironrath. I left Duncan behind, and if he is the traitor it will explain how ramsey could get in. Duncan very well could have had the gate open and let boltons in. Doesn't explain why there isn't a single person alive or dead there besides ramsay and Rodrik's sister. There certainly was fighting though.I really wonder did anyone leave the soldiers behind and royland, and have a different outcome?

I left Royland behind and my soldiers. I took my sentinel Duncan with me, he is a good man.

The "traitor" is the Maester, which works for the real lord of the house, the lord who eats in the table of the house and does whatever he likes to do.

Was ironrath still empty though?

It doesn't matter who you bring or leave behind, the end result is the same.

Wow. Another "wah wah; choices don't matter; Ramsey has plot armor; wah wah".
Douglas Quaid May 29, 2015 @ 9:24pm
So in a game where they emphasize choices but choices don't matter that's fine with you?

Best fanfic of an unfinished novel series in the graphical style of Back to the Future: the Game I've seen this year

It's redundant to hear it here. You must be like the thousandth person to start a thread saying this.

He is taking it like a champ so far. ^_^ Must be lovin' it!
