[Spoilers] The Royal Decree - Save it?
Is there a point to save it? For all we know, Mira's life could be in danger, with the fact it exists, Tyrion, I know, always had the best intentions, but even he was lost to the game for the Iron Throne.

That being said, it would be a useful bargaining chip to that merchant. As the old saying goes, merchants seek the coin.

i did not burn it because i thought that breaking into tyrions office was only for the reason of saving the paper, to use it with that merchant noble.

Burning it might save mira, but keeping it might save house forrester.

So i choose to keep it. If necessary mira will die for her house. At least thats how i think about brave little mira.

^ That was my thinking too, a member may die but the house will survive.

I was just confused where the burn it choice came from? i thought the whole point was getting it so that you could still use it so secure the ironwood

I agree, the burn choice was weird. I don't remember hearing anything about it during the dialogues.
Basically the guy who is probably a littlefinger pawn wanted you to destroy it and gave a vague verbal promise for an alliance if you destroyed it; I figured it was a legitimate document that proves what you want, and could be leveraged with any number of parties. tl;dr words mean nothing and it might be valuable.

I thought maybe it would look bad to have made a deal with Tyrion Lannister shortly before Joffrey's death. The other thought being that the guy who wanted you to burn it is playing you similar to Littlefinger.

Think about it this way; he was Hand of the King, and probably signed all sorts of ♥♥♥♥. That doesn't mean everyone he signed ♥♥♥♥ for is implicated somehow Jeoffrey being poisoned, especially if it's an industrial contract for lumber. She was also hardly the only person he spoke with during that time.

I think any agreement made shortly before an assassination of the king would look bad politically. I thought about it your way too, though. Ultimately I didn't burn it and kept the letter.

Agreed about even having the choice. The option confused me....I didn't realize the deal was for her to be rid of the letter., and had always assumed it was the proof she needed that the Iron wood would be purchased. The Choice really caught me off guard....that said, AMAZING episode. I see this epsisode as a standard by which I want to enjoy all future Telltell products.

Are you implying that Cersei wouldn't have every last person Tyrion spoke to tortured and executed?
What you say is true, but the problem is that the people in power are unhinged and more than a little bit mad with paranoia

Mira went to such lengths to get that piece of paper. The importance she attached to the task also put the coal boy in danger. In my opinion all the risks taken would been pointless. There are probably consequences to holding on to it but I couldn't let it go.

To be safe, I will make two save files. One to burn it, and one to save it.

If the Lannisters had found the letter, Mira would find her head on a pike as Morgryn (sp?) so eloquently put it. At the time I thought Morgryn to be sincere so I trusted him to come through with a new ironwood deal.

However, with the Whitehills sending "large amounts of gold" to King's Landing, it makes me think that Morgryn is a snake and burning the letter, while the good option for Mira, will be bad in the long run for House Forrester.

The letter definitely seems like a calculated risk but it's potential utility makes it worthwhile. In contrast in the previous installment I had Mira put down the Lannister Captain with his dagger and was given the option to hold on to or throw the weapon into the bushes. Unlike the letter the only thing I saw in my future if I kept it was being implicated in his death so she turfed it into the bushes. Out of curiosity did any one hold on to the dagger?
The point of stealing it, is because it's discovery (and further association with Tyrion) would be bad. So the choice of whether or not to burn it is a complex choice. Burning it, should help with your personal safety. Keeping it, and showing it to *what's his name* (who was making a deal with you at the wedding) as proof that you recovered it, helps the Forrester house (although it's discovery could mean your doom). I chose to keep it.
