I don't understand too ^^
Steam is the last for download the episode 6 and no language subtitles available.
How long to have the same advantage which XBOX or PS4 ?
Thanks in advance for the answer.
This is the great problem I see with Telltale... I really love the games they make, but they have zero concerns about localizating them. Even when they do, most of the time they don't even patch the games in Steam to include the subtitles (Season 2 of TWD or TWAU, for example). This is absurd, they have the work done, and yet don't care about including it everywhere to make some fans happy and reach more people.
I supose it's going to be the same case here with GOT, the translation is done but we can't get it on Steam, and they don't care. But the worst case (in my opinion) is with Tales From The Borderlands, which I reaaally loved. All Borderlands games are not only subtitled, but also dubbed to my language, and with a huge great quality, but TFTB doesn't even have subtitles, and by the look of it, it's never gonna have them.
I hope to be wrong.
Learn some damn English ppl (and btw why do you ever need captions)
Spoiler alert: I can speak and understand English, I'm not just typing random words hoping they make sense. I can play all those games and I've enjoyed them greatly. But translating a game means much more than just being able to understand it. It helps to inmersion and shows respect to the player, and also helps if you pretend to reach a large number of players with your product.

Subtitles are needed in case the game is not dubbed, as I said. The "least" thing to do is to include subtitles in the player's language while the voices stay in the original language (English, Japanese, whatever). And then the full localization would include voice acting, which if done well (again, the Borderlands saga) helps a lot with inmersion and makes the experience much better.

But it goes beyond that. Not all people can learn to speak English, and this matter is a deal breaker for them, which is limiting Telltale's audience a lot.
I can understand basic english but not medieval terms and this game need quick answer.
But that's not the problem here: Subtitles in many language EXIST... but not for PC players, it's weird!
They do this since Walking Dead Season 2 everywhere else you can get the official translation except on Steam however there are unofficial ways ;). Just wait for the GOG.com files or the Retail release (the files are interchangeable) :happymeat:

Get the Title Update for the XBOX360 version, unpack the Title Update, unpack the ttarch2 files, search for the landb files, rename them like ..._german.landb becomes ..._english.landb, put these files into the "archives" directory, WIN !
Well except for Episode 6 since even the Title Update doesn't have translations for that.
