Saving Mira Forrester

Mira is my favorite character and I hate the fact that all my decisions led to her getting her head chopped off. I guess I was too honorable as Mira because when the episode started I defended Sara and got fired as Margaery's handmaiden thus losing her protection, then when I was on death row talking to Morgryn (after finding out he betrayed me) I refused to marry him inspite of the fact that it would have saved me and that sealed Mira's fate. The funny thing is when I was being marched towards the chopping block I kept expecting something would save me at the last minute, like Margaery for example intervening but instead Mira lost her head. It wasn't even a "Valar Morghulis" moment where you could go back and fix it. Instead she's gone for good.

That's why I've got to know if any of the other decisions Mira makes in this episode or past episodes (like discarding the knife or not killing Damien) would prevent her demise?

probably not killing the guard would be the big thing here.

She would probably be arrested in some way. I am not sure but the problem is she was seen at the garden and with the killed guard by some other guard. If she dropped the knife she would be at least a suspect.

I think from all storylines, Mira was the hardest one because every action of her had true and hardest to foresee consequences.

Knowing Telltale, the only way to keep her alive is marrying the stylish hair guy. I don't think that having Margaery on your side helps you in any way (my guess: she doesn't hear about it until it is too late or leaves you to die anyways cause it'd hurt her reputation).

Only agreeing to marry the lovely bond villain saves Mira, so i went for it, figuring out i'd die if if i'd say no...it was the hardest choice in the episode, screwing over Tom so hugely made me feel pretty evil(no, not in a good way, that was with gared, he he, pretty knife), i mean think of it from his point of view, guy risks himself over and over again for some noblewomen for some unclear reason, then gets betrayed by her and dies, ouch.

back to Morgryn, the situation isn't that hard really, pretend to go along with it then stab him in his sleep, then take his heart and feed it to the flames :)

This. I've lied to Margaery about Sera and wasn't dismissed, but still got beheaded after refusing to marry the guy.

I just figured since Mira is a central character that come kind of plot armor would have prevented her from being killed. When I was walking down to the scaffold I thought Tom would have made a ruckus and distrated everyone enough for me to escape or that Margaery who has the power to stop executions come to my defense. But in the end I forget this is Game of Thrones where anyone can die.

He hints of that either way, either breed or die(guessing she will get killed after breeding). But she did say she would do anythign to survive so marrying is her way.

I wanted to betray Tom, I feel she would have done that, but not marry the dude. It's wierd she couldn't plead her case of self defense to anyone.

Next play im not going to help tom with the guard(that you can kill) and see what happens, i feel that tom is a joker/pawn.

Just finished my playthrough. Not killing the guard still has him ending up dead, and since the first guard you meet that night saw you, they blame you. So you're arrested no matter what. I don't think even having Cersei on your side does anything.

I can concurr just finished my first playthrough I I didn't kill the guard - I thoguht maybe running away the guard would have survived and tom wouldn't, but I was wrong.

I decided to marry that lord (don't remember his name off the top of my head) since figured Mira could then get out or somehow kill him later - and depending on the story, if the forresters manage to win and defeat the whitehills, then the whole plan of that lord will fail.

Edit: also I think marry that lord does seem like what Mira would do, since like others have said she would survive no matter what the costs may be.
