Yes, you can. You can either kill Gryff or Ludd, but not both.

You can kill Ludd. Some people posted it yesterday already. One way is for example poison him and another seems to be to ambush him in his lair.

If you have seen the last episode of season 5, you will realize that scenario is pretty much off the table.

What are you guys talking about...? You can clearly kill him... you get to choose between him and his son when you ambush his camp

At the camp you can kill Ludd, but only while playing as Rodrick. You can't go to the camp as Asher. Once there you have the choice whether to try and kill Ludd or to save Ryon. If you choose to save Ryon you end up fighting and killing Gryff. If you choose to go after Ludd then you kill him instead but Beshka goes missing and it's implied she went to save Ryon. However, Gryff is still alive at the end so it's possible he killed Beshka and Ryon if you did that

I chose Rodrick and killed Ludd. In the end Beshka DID save Ryan, even though Ludd told his son to kill Ryon if something happened to him, lol.

Even if you chose to kill Ludd, the last cutscene in the game is Beshka riding away with Ryon so it's not even really implied, it's actually shown.

With Rodrik, you attack the Whitehill camp. There you can choose between Ludd and his son. You can kill only one of them.
With Asher, you can poison Ludd, but if you do that, his son survive. If you not poison Ludd, you can kill his son, but this time Ludd survive.
So either way, you can kill Ludd.
