Season 2 still or cancelled?

I didn't want to spoil anything for myself, but I have been coming across post that talk about endings to the story. Has there been an update in lieu of plans for a 2nd season? What am I missing?

I haven't checked into too deep out of fear of spoilers so if somebody could let me know the 'current' status of this game series I would appreciate. I was SO pissed of when season 1 didn't wrap up with any kind of conlclusive ending.....did they finally come around and treat us fans right?

agreed. this sucks because their games are usually pretty good

Only way that there will be Season 2 is if some other company makes it: I think it's likely to happen at some point simply because of the IP (leaving it idle when it could be very lucrative to make a new game) - but we'll have to wait and see what happens.

They can very easily. It wasn't even in any active form of development beyond an aborted storyline caused by Telltale's liqudiation there isn't really anything for anyone to pick up and continue. It also wasn't one of Telltale's well recieved titles.

The best you could hope for is another company to develop somsrthing based of the ASOIAF IP but I suspect there is very little chance of Telltale's game being continued.

I killed Ludd because he was the actual leader. And he was smart. Unlike Gryff.

After season 8, I doubt it lol. Maybe if the prequel series that they launch is successful, but eh.
