I remember after Wolf among us everyone wanted the follow up and it never happened. Remember reading back then that when they make tell tale games going forward they would lock up the rights for multiple sequels to avoid that in the future.
And it seems like here they are again, a game that was obviously was meant to have a sequel but probably will never get one.
Telltale Games went bankrupt and closed, all projects were cancelled with immediate effect. Skybound (the owners of the walking dead franchise) took over the last season of Telltales - The Walking Dead, who had already released 4 out of the 5 episodes, but then removed that from steam and made episode 5 an epic store exclusive.
I would expect all the Telltale games to be removed from steam at some point once the license expires.
Indeed, and even more-so for those who lost there jobs.
You can read more about the demise of Telltale here - https://www.gameinformer.com/feature/2019/04/09/the-rise-and-fall-of-telltale-games
will have to finish that later as im omw out door, but thankyou for link.
They were going to finally make another wolf among us, omg I loved that game, 4x as sad now.

They may be back..
That sounds promising, no guarantee they will be on steam again though.
This is not one of the games they hold the rights to. They might pursue them I suppose but Game of Thrones was not that well recieved.
