Echo Eye bug

Ok, this is the problem: i finished both Fiona's and Rhys's version of facts about the key; the big guy showed up, we met Zero, blahblahblah and i stick that thing in my head. As I wake up my Echo Eye does not woek at all: i try pressing Q but the screen goes totally mad, it seems like old malfunctioning TV.
"It's just a momentary bug" I think, but as I exit the truck I have to use the Echo Eye in order to proceed with the story and it does not work at all.
I tried uninstalling and re-instaling the game, restart the PC... can anybody help me please?

I think I know what you're talking aboutand I don't think you need to use the eye.

When i play i can still use Q but it its just gray

and when i press on some random circles the game freezes PLZ HELP

Hello. Yes, just ran into this bug(?) with the eye scan. Cannot advance further. Quite annoying, it seems that it happens to a few people only, so no feedback yet on how to solve it. Cant find anything online.

Something so small, yet it stops you from playing. Anyone else have any luck? Bump this up to the first page.

Hi. I had this bug too. Luckily I solved it by replaying the entire episode on a different save slot. I did made different decisions, but I don't know for sure if that fixed it. You guys try that if you haven't already.

I have had this problem on GOG. I found a fix, in case anyone reads this and runs into this bug.

Here's what I did: I was using a controller and pressing A to scan did nothing. What I did was to move my cursor on the thing I wanted to scan (using the controller). Then, without moving the mouse, pressing the left mouse button to scan it. That worked for me. I hope it does for you too. :)
